Security
An admin PIN protects Books, Timetable, Settings and backups. It is optional and off by default so demonstrations stay quick.
PIN is offBackup & restore
Backups are consistent copies of the whole database (books, timetable, history, settings). A safety copy is made automatically before upgrades, restores and clearing history.
